Puerta Privada is located on the site of a former RV park located along the Sea of Cortez on Sandy Beach. It sits between Las Palomas Sea Side Golf Community and the Sonoran Sky. The owner of the RV park partnered with the developers of Sonoran Sky and Sonoran Sea to develop Puerta Privada.
Private Gated Community Puerta Privada is a private gated community. Unlike many of the other condominium resorts on Sandy Beach that allow short term rentals, Puerta Privada is the only non rental beachfront condo development in Rocky Point, Mexico.
